Bugling Elk

This Bull Elk was calling out to females during the Fall 2020 Elk Rut in Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina. This big male tried to mate with female Elk, also called Cows, on a rainy Fall morning but didn't have any luck. Taken from a safe and respectful distance using a telephoto lens.
