Barred Owl Portrait

I discovered this Barred Owl perched on a low branch in Eastern North Carolina in the summer of 2021. Using my car as a blind, I observed it looking for animals to hunt and casting owl pellets. Taken from a safe and respectful distance using a telephoto lens.
